The Faculty Team is the heart and head of any IIT-JEE Institute. At IIT-P, a team of dedicated, loyal and talented faculty members drawn from Academia & Industry who have studied in the IITs, NITs or in reputed Universities in India and abroad teach as per precisely laid-out guidelines.

The names of our Teachers are not disclosed on the Website for professional reasons. However, you can visit our office and get the complete list of our teachers along with their educational qualifications and teaching experience which are printed in the detailed IIT-P Brochure. You can also get contact information about our students who are currently studying or have studied in the past to know about the teaching feedback at IIT-P.

Two things should suffice for the time being to satisfy your inquisitiveness about our Faculty team. Firstly, the unmatched results in Pune year-after-year since 2002 in all Engineering Entrance Exams like JEE MAINS & ADVANCED, BITSAT, MHT-CET etc. are due to the splendid teaching and well-structured program design & execution at IIT-P. Secondly, the unmatched Retention Rate of 95% after 2-years coaching speaks volumes of the excellent feedback of the teaching staff at IIT-P. We must bring to your notice that usually IIT-JEE classes in Western India suffer from a drop-out rate of over 50% after the first year itself. We have been able to arrest the drop-out rate to under 10% in a span of 2-years – thanks to the excellent teaching quality. Credit goes to our teachers ofcourse!

IIT-P currently engages about 50 teachers for all its classroom programs from Std.7-12 & IIT Repeaters. Out of them, 44 teachers are exclusively for teaching Std.11-12 of which 28 are Full-Time Teachers and 12 are IITians. A team of another 10 teachers are demarcated for IIT Foundation classes only from Std.7-10.

The Faculty Team is headed by the Academic Head, Prof. D.C.Mangeshkar who holds a B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT-Bombay and 4 Heads of Departments – one each for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

IIT-P is perhaps the only academy in Western India which regularly conducts Faculty Training Workshops for its faculties to continuously upgrade its faculty members. There is a comprehensive common minimum program (CMP) designed by IIT-P so that any faculty teaching a particular chapter in any batch follows the CMP and ensures that all key concepts are taught in a sequential manner as per the CMP guidelines. This ensures quality.

A separate Team of Faculty are recruited for Study Material design, Test & Assignment Design and Corrections work.

IIT-P has the strongest faculty team amongst JEE institutes in Western India.
