The fourth stage of the PRODIGY Program is called the CALCULUS Program and is meant for a Std.10 student who has successfully completed the PRE-GRANDMASTERS Program. Thus, a student who has done the PRODIGY JUNIORS Program in Std. 7, the PRODIGY SENIORS Program in Std.8, the Pre-GRANDMASTERS Program in Std.9 and wishes to do a classroom program in Std.10 as well can enrol for the 3-months special program on Differential & Integral Calculus which is taught from May to July of that academic year. Such students are advised to study for Std.10 Boards exam thereafter.
In this Program, the student attends lectures with Std.12 students and learns the sophisticated branch of Mathematics called CALCULUS which has wide applications in Physics, Chemistry & Engineering.
Students who completed the CALCULUS program have reported enhanced fluency in applying Calculus techniques in solving Physics & Chemistry questions in Std.11-12. Almost 50% of the challenging Physics & Physical Chemistry questions in JEE ADVANCED exam involves usage of Calculus techniques. Most IIT aspirants struggle to gain mastery over applications of Calculus. However, students who go through this course have gained reasonable mastery much earlier than others.
